To change the battle order, move each character to the best location. You can move a character when it’s selected (i.e. when there’s a black border around its icon). To leave a character where it stands, press *, or 5 on the keypad, or click its icon once.
When you are satisfied, choose again ”Battle Order” from the Group menu.
